Dear Dr. Agazie,
Thanks for your comment. I agree that self-efficacy is an important element that ultimately reflects in the national brand. If people do not believe they have the ability to act on their own behalf to take care of their families and improve their futures, then all the marketing campaigns in the world won't change the psychological outlook within a country or a people. Job creation can only be sustainable if people have the means to build businesses. Media technologies can contribute to this by giving people access to information in ways that facilitate business development and growth. The Manobi Foundation, for example, has developed a system to give rural farmers current market prices so they are not taken advantage of by middlemen who might offer them less than a fair price for their goods. Their site is http://www.manobidevelopment foundation.org. Here is an overeivew from YouTube that the director gave at the AFI Digifest Conference last year:

Rebranding the image of Nigeria may start with a positive self-efficacy perception held by a large sectment of the populace, with the creation of jobs for qualified persons, and with love of country embedded in the souls.
